We are very proud of our local ties to Clacton County High School (CCHS). They recently had a parents/opening evening and they asked if we would attend to speak to pupils about a career in engineering after school.
We had many components on show particularly from the aerospace & defence sector. Great interest was shown and knowing there is a high precision manufacturing company just down the road was also of great interest to many.
The evening was a great success, and we believe these young people will see a career in engineering as a positive step.
Our last 5 from 6 apprentices have come from CCHS, we hope there will be many more…
