5 Axis CNC Machining

The process of 5 axis machining uses Computer Numerical Control (CNC) to move up to 5 different axes simultaneously, enabling the most complex work pieces to be machined with ultra precision and increased accuracy. Our 5 axis Mazak machining centres can provide infinite possibilities, greater precision and accuracy on highly complex parts with reduced set up times and improved productivity with multi pallet set ups. With the ability to work to and maintain tolerances of .002µm in all materials, our 5-axes capacity allows us to machine parts up to 500mm Dia, with 120 tool carousels and utilising our multi pallet systems we can reduce lead times and still maintain high precision repeatability.

Our Mazak 5 axis i500 6 pallet Palletech system maximises the output of the machine shop by running similar parts together with very little downtime of the machine spindle and lights out operations. The system brings advanced, pre-engineered automation to today’s machining environment. The Mazak Smooth software coupled with the Palletech Manufacturing Cell (PMC) controller can monitor operations, view and change schedules instantly and still have the versatility to keep production moving to achieve customer demand.

3 & 4 Axis Machining

For parts not requiring 5 axis machining, we have a range of 3 and 4 axis CNC machining centres which can maintain close tolerance work of up to .002µm in all materials with the capability of using pallet loading systems or machine beds up to 550mm x 1660mm long. These machines have 4th axis capability and 30 tool carousels increasing the versatility and production on the machine. They can carry out complex and precise parts with increased production using the pallet systems.

8 off CNC Horizontal & Vertical Machining Centres

Ranging from those capable of machining components as large as 510mm x 510mm x1660mm and others sensitive and fast enough to machine the most delicate components. Most machines are of a Twin Pallet configuration with up to 80 station tooling carousels. Rotary and 5 Axis are also available on both the larger and smaller machines offering total flexibility on both round and prismatic parts.
