About Tridan Engineering
Tridan Engineering Ltd was established in 1968 and provides a total outsource partnership and machining service to companies in the UK, Europe and USA, many of these leaders in their respective fields. The company currently employs 60+ staff.
Tridan are certified to AS/EN9100 & ISO 14001. Tridan provide major organisations in aerospace, defence, automotive, food, medical, marine and other industries with quality and reliable products utilising our extensive range of modern machinery.
Tridan has continuously invested in machine tools, including the very latest Sliding Head, Horizontal, 5 axis CNC machining centres and lathes. These are operated by a skilled workforce to provide standards of quality and service, which we believe, can only be matched by a few companies in the field.
Tridan’s manufacturing capabilities are backed by an equally efficient modern inspection plant and procedures, covering the range from small components to large work pieces up to 1.66 metres in size, all of which can be produced in small or large batches or delivered from stock to Kan-Ban requirements. The Tridan service includes prototype parts, complete assemblies and all ancillary requirements such as heat treatment, plating processes and painting.
To meet the demands of modern supply chain requirements Tridan has invested heavily in management and technical support software. A Windows based fully integrated networked production management system has been installed. This controls sales order processing, contract control, through to materials management.
A CAD Cam system offers customers the opportunity to transmit drawing files in 2D or 3D solid formats such as DXF/IGES/DWG/CATIA and others. These are readily translated into machine codes and sent to our wireless DNC linked machine tools.

The Latest Management Software Solutions
Using state-of-the-art production control management software plus Tridan’s extensive knowledge of running both JIT & KANBAN systems, ensures we achieve promised delivery schedules, using our own transport, to suit your specific production requirements.
Approvals
We achieved our AS/EN9100 approval back in 2008 following the decision to take a more strategic approach to the Aerospace and defence markets. This was followed up by the environmental approval ISO14001 in 2011, we were registered with Joscar in September 2020 after being nominated by one of the defence primes.

Parent Company
Langham Industries was founded in 1980 with the purchase of Stone Manganese Marine from Stone Platt Industries Plc. The group has subsequently grown and now comprises a total of 15 companies engaged in marine engineering, casting manufacture, port operations and precision engineering services.
Other Group companies, including those in South Africa, manufacture and service marine propellers as well as industrial and aerospace fasteners and marine winches.
Tridan Engineering Ltd became part of the Langham Industries Group in 1989, when the Group made the decision that a specialist precision engineering machinist was required to carry out the machining of non-ferrous castings produced by the group foundry in London. This association has developed over recent years and several contracts, including aerospace projects, have been successfully jointly undertaken.
