The Essential Engineering Component – Automation

Do you have a project that we can help you with?

Tridan are Precision CNC sub-contractor and are EN9100 and ISO14001 accredited, JOSCAR registered and certified with Cyber Essentials Plus. We specialise in 5 axis machining and turning of complex components across many sectors.

We have invested significantly over the last few years in machine tools and shop floor improvements, these include:

  • Star SJ20 – Sliding head for parts 20mm dia. or under to complement our Star ST38.
  • Mazak Quickturn 200-MY with bar feeder.
  • Mazak VTC760 – 3 axis machining centre for parts 1700mm long x 760mm wide.
  • Mazak i700 – large dia. 5-axis machining centre with 6 pallets for machining up to 700mm dia.
  • Larger assembly area for mechanical assemblies, fine deburring, and part marking.
  • Inspection capacity doubled, now with 2 large CMMs
  • Solar array of 446 panels

We are also able to offer sliding head machining from small dia’s up to 38mm dia., Mill turn and turning with Bar feed capability. Standard CNC 3-axis milling and horizontal machining, as well as having a range of smaller work centres which can produce less demanding components albeit to the most exacting of standards. These capabilities are further enhanced by our recently expanded Inspection Dept and full mechanical assembly facilities.

Where finishing is required a comprehensive supply chain is in place to cover all processes from conversion coat, anodising and passivation through to full painting solutions.
