Tridan are delighted to announce our first ever Sliding Head machining centre is now on order with Star Micronics.
The Star CNC Swiss ST-38 sliding head will be installed early September 2013. This new technology will allow us to bar feed up to 40mm dia, with a headstock stroke of 350mm, coupled with a 3 mtr bar feed capacity and 30off working tool station.
We envisage this new purchase opening up new markets, also to increase capacity throughout our shop floor due to efficiency gains via the ST-38.
With this purchase well over £300k, Tridan are again buying the latest technology in our field and will continue to invest to give our customers the best deal with price/delivery in the contract manufacturing sector.
