Apprentice Week Feb 9th – 15th 2026 – Skills For Life

National Apprenticeship Week is a celebration of the positive impact apprenticeships have on individuals, local businesses, and regional economies—and here at Tridan, it’s something we are extremely proud of.

We have been running our apprenticeship programme for over 16 years, developing young talent into skilled, fully qualified engineers who play a key role in the continued growth of our business.

Many of our current team started their careers as apprentices at Tridan and have since progressed into vital positions across the organisation. Three of these being supervisory roles.

We currently have 11 employees who have completed—or are on the path to completing—their apprenticeships: Matt Hammett, Brandon Palmer, Ashley McGrath, Liston Louth, Will Vaughan-Chatfield, Ben Scrivener, Dan Walters, Dan Myles, Ella Marsh, Daniel Coleman, and Nasim Hamrouni.

They work across multiple departments including propeller discing, CNC milling, CNC turning, and inspection, and each plays a pivotal role within the Tridan team.

We are also pleased to congratulate Brandon Palmer, who has recently been promoted from Deputy Inspector to Quality Engineer. Brandon’s new role includes customer collaboration, compliance, part release into production, and industrial validation—well deserved and a great example of progression through our apprenticeship route.

At Tridan, we are proud of all our apprentices—past and present—and wish them every success. They truly are the engineers of tomorrow. We are seeing a real buzz from young people entering engineering, and if precision engineering feels like the right path for you, get in touch—our next wave of apprentice intakes will be coming soon.
