Our latest investment to assist with the efficient running of our Inspection Department and shop floor is a 2nd CMM – A Mitutoyo Crysta-S Bridge Type CMM.
This has a working area of 1600mm x 1800mm x 900mm, equipped with Renishaw TP20 touch probing and uses the latest PC-DMIS software. This will assist not only with 1st off inspection, but with patrol and final inspection requirements. It will help to ensure that we can continue to supply top quality conforming products direct to our customers assembly lines.
To fit this new piece of equipment into Tridan, we have doubled the size of our Inspection Department and as such this will help the throughput of the machine shop and enables us to increase productivity and get more parts out to customers. More details to follow on the infrastructure changes this year at Tridan.
